What Is the One-Piece Side Dart Stretch Sloper?
A fully custom, measurement-based sloper drafted exactly for your body, your fabric, and your design process. This is not a standard sized block. It is a drafting tool that generates a made-to-measure stretch sloper from your exact measurements, or from our built-in ASTM size tables, along with your chosen stretch percentage.
The One-Piece Side Dart Stretch Sloper provides the essential foundation for drafting garments that require controlled shaping through the bust. The side dart establishes accurate contour, making it the ideal base for developing princess seams and other shaped design lines while maintaining balanced stretch distribution across the garment.
Because the sloper is generated from your measurement inputs, the dart intake reflects your unique proportions automatically. Instead of adjusting bust shaping after drafting, you begin with a foundation that already matches your body. This allows you to draft bikinis, sports bras, leotards, bodysuits, and other stretch garments with greater precision and fewer corrections.
The MiSlope drafting tools allow you to create precise, made-to-measure digital stretch blocks and slopers using measurement-driven drafting logic. Works Across Kids, Teens, and Adult Sizing
MiSlope is designed to grow with the wearer. In addition to drafting from custom measurements, the tool includes built-in ASTM sizing tables so you can generate patterns even when exact measurements are not available.
Draft using ASTM Girls sizing tables (sizes 2–20) for children and youth garments, making it ideal for dancewear, swimwear, skating costumes, and growing bodies where consistent sizing is needed.
For teens and adults, you can draft using ASTM Missy Straight or ASTM Missy Curvy sizing tables, allowing you to start from an industry-standard proportion set while still maintaining stretch-specific drafting and negative ease control.
Whether you are sewing for children, teens, or adults, MiSlope provides a consistent drafting foundation across size ranges, so you can design once and scale confidently without switching pattern systems.

What Is A Sloper?
What is a Sloper?
A Sloper is produced from the measurements taken directly from the body and is a two dimensional representation of the three dimensional body. The Sloper is considered the “Master Pattern”, as it includes ease but does not include seam allowance nor design lines. Pattern designers will draft one Sloper and create an infinite amount of designs from that one Sloper. It would take far more time if pattern designers drafted each of their designs from raw measurements.
Sewing patterns are derived from the Sloper by way of adding design lines, cutting away parts of the sloper (Imagine an ice sculpture being cut from a giant block of ice) and adding seam allowance. The Sloper is the most important foundation to a final design, if the Sloper is not cut precisely, any designs stemming from the Sloper will have fit issues.
