Print Instructions (Updated)
Before You Print – A Few Quick Notes
If you plan to print your pattern or sloper directly from the MiSlope drafting tool, be sure to select “Download Tiled (A4 Printing)”. We recommend downloading both versions—the Full Page file and the Tiled A4 file. Assembling the pattern is a bit like solving a puzzle, so having the full-page view will help you visualize how everything fits together.
With the tiled version, you may notice some blank pages—this is completely normal. Because each pattern is dynamically generated based on your unique measurements, the layout can’t always be optimized to avoid empty pages. While it’s a bit inconvenient, it’s an unavoidable part of creating custom-fit designs.
Please also note that the Tiled A4 file may look different from traditional, ready-made patterns. It won’t be perfectly formatted or neatly arranged—because your pattern is one-of-a-kind! Unlike multi-size commercial patterns cluttered with overlapping size lines, MiSlope gives you a clean, personalized file with only your measurements—no need to sort through multiple layers or guess which line is yours.
Each page includes a blank margin around the edges to prevent your printer from cutting off any part of the pattern. When assembling, you'll need to overlap the pages and align the lines carefully. Do not draw in missing lines—simply match and tape the sheets together as-is.
1. Choose Download Tiled (A4 Printing) when your download links appear
2. Open your MiSlope Sloper or Pattern in your PDF reader of choice (example: Adobe Acrobat, Preview etc...)
3. Choose File > Print

4. Look for options to scale (Example: in adobe acrobat this will be Custom Scale) - Choose 100%
5. Print
6. Measure the measurement square to ensure your square is 1 inch by 1 inch or 2.54cm x 2.54cm
7. Overlap the pages so that the lines align. You will need to fold the border of one of the pages and overlap it onto the next page. Tape.
8. Cut and sew!
9. Get a projector - I promise projector sewing will change your life! You'll never have to cut and tape every again. If you are projector sewing, you can use the Full Page PDF for your projector.
